The Heart Behind the Mission
Battalion of Angels was born in the muddy, sacred aftermath of disaster.
After serving alongside neighbors and strangers in the wake of the Texas floods, we witnessed something holy, grief and grace walking side by side, communities rising together, and people showing up for each other without hesitation or red tape. That kind of presence, that kind of unity, was too powerful to leave behind.
This mission was created by a veteran who deeply missed the sense of camaraderie, purpose, and conviction that comes from service, and found it again in those moments of recovery. Battalion of Angels is our way of holding on to that calling. It’s our way of continuing to serve, not just when tragedy hits, but in the quiet spaces that follow.
We provide gear, goods, and boots-on-the-ground response for families impacted by disaster, displacement, or crisis. We’re not a nonprofit yet. We’re just people who believe that this is how it should be all the time. No waiting. No wondering. Just showing up where it hurts.
We believe in grit and grace. In sweat and sacred work. In prayer that moves feet and hands that hold steady.
This isn’t charity. It’s community. And it’s what we were made for.
